Handler 1 managed to clean up some of the photos she massively screwed up, so we thought we'd post a few follow up shots of the Badlands. Here's
Handler 2 climbing the ladder on the treacherous Notch Trail.
Here's our "wheels", the Sexy Scion, with the Yellow Mounds in the background.
Here's some prarie dogs, being adorable.
We also wanted to give a quick mention about our hotel for the night. It's got a lot of character, and by that we mean it's OOOOLLLLDDDD. Seriously, check out the antique embroidered bedspreads.
It's actually quite pretty, so you don't mind that the water pipes don't work all that well. The place has Native American art all over it.
The proprietors of the Alex Johnson hotel would like you to know that they are not...
And never have been...
Nazis. There seems to be a lot of that going around in South Dakota.
We had fun staying here. Handler 1 was all excited because the hotel is supposed to be haunted. Silly girl, we certainly didn't see anything out of the ordinary while we were there!
Oh! I just realized the Swastika is also a Native American thing.

So it's slightly more OK, especially if it pre-dates say, 1939.
Last picture, LOL!
